Coming Event:
The Palm Beach Chapter of the NFBF is taking our
"White Cane Awareness Walk"
to the street on Friday, October 29th, 2010.
We will be at the intersections of Forest Hill and Congress
in Palm Springs from 10 AM - 1 PM
to demonstrate what happens when the blind meet the motorists
who are unaware of the "White Cane Law".
We will be under the protection of the Palm Springs Police Department
with the cooperation of the 3 surrounding law enforcement jurisdictions.

Hello, and welcome to the Palm Beach Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Florida information page!
We are a rapidly growing and
very diverse group of people from every point in Palm Beach County. Our focus is
on the positive aspects of life that is possible for blind and low
vision people of all ages. And
we want to be a valuable resource for each
other and for everyone who finds themselves dealing with life without
sight.
We meet on the second Saturday of every month at the Grumpy Grouper Grill located at 224 North 3rd Street, Lantana Florida. Meetings begin at 10:30 AM and include speakers on a variety of subjects of interest to our community. We attend to the business of our chapter and then we EAT and socialize and make new friends. Our meetings end at 1:00 PM
